On November 11th, 2009, at the Avalon nightclub in the heart of Hollywood, Jojo will confirm her desire to “help fight prejudice against the LGBT community” by joining the Open Artist Movement.

At the 2nd annual Open Artists with Open Arms event, “Pop Goes the World”, Jojo will perform one of her international hits in front of 400 LGBT youth and their allies, as well as over 1,000 VIPs, celebs, and entertainment seekers. She will be in good company. The event is directed by choreographer Kevin Stea of Madonna’s ‘Truth or Dare’ and hosted by Alec Mapa, star of Ugly Betty. Internet sensation B. Scott will do celeb interviews and host the youth lounge pre-party. Additional performances to include American Idol’s Blake Lewis, international recording artist Guy B, Original Pussy Cat Doll and solo recording artist, Carmit Bachar, Tigarah, The Futhamuckas, Trish of Monsters of Hip-Hop, Kyle Puccia, Fanny Pak, and many others…

Additional celebrity video or attendance expected by Lady Gaga, David Lachapelle, Elizabeth Berkeley, Ne-yo, Jenny Shimizu, Brian Friedman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Brian Graden, Tyce Diorio, Wilson Cruz, Darryl Stephens, Tina Landon, Vincent Paterson, and more added daily.
