Kyle Puccia
Italian-American, Kyle Puccia, is the rare New Yorker who actually LOVES living in LA. Puccia earned his BFA in Musical Theatre at SUNY Fredonia College. After graduation, Puccia starred in professional regional musicals throughout the majority of the United States. He settled in NYC where he continued to work in theatre. Some highlights include his original one man show with music about Jack Kerouac & Jazz at the legendary Rose’s Turn, The Raft of the Medusa written and directed by Joe Pintauro, & a European Tour of the musical Hair directed by creator, Jim Rado.
Following Hair, Puccia decided to shake things up a bit when he moved to LA in 2000.
Since then he has become a Billboard charting recording artist, Billboard charting songwriter, award-winning composer, celebrity vocal coach, music-director and vocal arranger/producer. Kyle did music-direction and vocal arrangements for LA and Las Vegas productions of Broadway’s 80s rock musical, Rock of Ages, with Kyle Gass of Tenacious D., Dan Finnerty of the Dan Band, Jack Blades from 80s rock bands Damn Yankees and Night Ranger, Katherine McPhee and other notable talent. Puccia is currently writing songs for LA’s most successful dancers who have worked with Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, Madonna, P!NK and others. Puccia’s most recent songwriting hit “Emergency”, performed by actress Carmen Perez, spent several weeks on the American Dance Billboard charts and peaked at #10 on the pop charts in the UK.
Puccia has released three CDs available on ITunes. His newest offering is a scaled-down, acoustic singer/songwriter CD entitled, Bipolar, part one. It features a duet with Ana Ortiz, an actress who is best known for her role as Betty’s sister, Hilda, on TV’s Ugly Betty. His debut CD, Identity, has an aggressive, theatrical, pop-rock flavor and has garnered radio play in the US and in Europe. His dance single Fruitloop Daydream achieved Billboard status & is played on dance floors throughout the United States and in Europe. Puccia is currently working on his 2nd dance single and his next full-length album.
