JoJo is an international Recording Artist, Songwriter, and Actress. She shot to fame with her certified Multi-Platinum debut album, JoJo, and her platinum global hit, “Leave (Get Out)”. At the age of thirteen, JoJo was setting records as the youngest Solo artist in U.S. history to have a #1 single and the youngest nominee ever for an MTV Video Music Award – “Best New Artist”.

Her follow up release, The High Road, also garnered JoJo platinum success with its lead mega-hit, “Too Little Too Late”, which broke the Billboard record for the biggest jump in the history of the Billboard charts – from #66 to #3 in just one week. JoJo has since sold more than 10 Million albums & singles worldwide and now at the age of 18, has embarked on recording her highly anticipated 3rd album, All I Want Is Everything, due to be released in 2010.

Born Joanna Noëlle Levesque, “JoJo” has been acting since the age of four. After appearing on numerous television shows, JoJo was cast in the Fox film, Aquamarine, co-starring Emma Roberts and Sara Paxton. Her role as Hailey snagged JoJo a Teen Choice Award Nomination in the “Movies: Choice Breakout – (female)” category. JoJo’s follow up film, RV, co-starring Robin Williams and Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm) opened at #1 at the Box Office. Most recently JoJo starred in the Lifetime television film, True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet, with Valerie Bertinelli. The made for TV film was the highest rated program during its premiere.

In addition to singing, writing, and acting, JoJo is extremely passionate about her involvement in various charities. She participated in the recording of “Come Together Now” – a charity song to benefit the victims of the 2004 Asian Tsunami and 2005 Hurricane Katrina. She has also hosted and performed at the Hope Rocks Concert to raise funds for The City of Hope Cancer Center. JoJo has given her time and talent in support of various charities working towards finding a cure for Alzheimers. In addition, she supports and has been involved with the following organizations: Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Jumpstart – Read for the Record, the G&P Cancer Foundation, Dove For Real Beauty campaign, The Candie’s Foundation, YouthAids.org, World Vision, and Make A Wish Foundation. JoJo also works closely with dosomething.org and encourages the volunteer spirit with the youth around the world. She has participated in self-esteem workshops through The Step Up Women’s Network, has walked the runway at the Red Dress Fashion show to raise awareness and funds for women’s heart health & research, and participated in the Snoopy in Fashion event to benefit the Dress For Success organization. Further, she has been involved with anti-bullying campaigns and has performed at The Arthur Ashe Kid’s Day. JoJo’s latest cause is to help fight prejudice against the LGBT community. She recently taped a PSA for the NOH8 campaign and is honored to be involved with the “Open Artists with Open Arms” event in Los Angeles.
