Over 300 students in Gay-Straight Alliance clubs will be among the more than 1,000 guests at the Avalon, in the heart of Hollywood, for the 2nd Annual Open Artists with Open Arms event “Pop Goes the World” on Wednesday, November 11. The event will benefit LifeWorks, a program of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center that helps LGBTQ youth achieve their personal and professional goals through mentoring. It will also raise awareness of the Open Artist Movement, which unites openly gay artists with mainstream artists who support creative expression regardless of sexual orientation.
Youth Lounge opens at 6:30pm. Performances begin at 8pm.

The main floor is open to the public with VIP seating and General Admission tickets. LGBT youth and their allies, under 21 years old, are invited to attend free of charge in the balcony. The Youth Lounge Pre-Party will start at 6:30pm. Red carpet arrivals begin at 7pm. Performance starts at 8pm.
